Participatory Remembrance Ceremony 1:00 pm Commemorate the anniversary of the 1948 al-Nakba--the catastophe of the Palestinians’ homeland by the founding of Israel--by participating in a ceremonial creation of a giant map of Palestine. Learn about the over 400 Palestinian villiages that were depopulated and bulldozed. What is the continuing impact? What can we do? |
